A $107,049.93 contract for engineering design services regarding apron and taxiway pavement rehabilitation at Atlanta Speedway Airport in Hampton was approved by the Henry County Board of Commissioners at its Oct. 5 regular meeting. The project is part of the airport’s five-year capital improvement plan. According to county staff, while funding for the project is currently in the county’s airport account, this expense is eligible for reimbursement by the Georgia Department of Transportation as of the spring of 2022. In other business, the commissioners approved their meeting schedule for 2022 as well as the county’s holiday schedule for next year. Information: henrycounty-ga.com.
