Two items regarding Nash Farm Park were approved by the Henry County Board of Commissioners at its Aug. 17 regular meeting. A resolution was passed conveying $47,437 in fixed assets to the Henry County Water Authority relating to the new fire line at the Nash Farm Cultural Arts Center.

The improvements currently being made to that facility require the installation of a fire suppression sprinkler system. In a separate agenda item, the commissioners approved a resolution declaring a house and a storage structure on the park site as surplus. According to officials, the structures have no serviceable function and can be demolished or used by the Fire Department to burn for training purposes. Information: henrycounty-ga.com.
