The Snellville City Council recently approved annexation, zoning and variances for a proposed mixed retail, commercial, office subdivision development at 1498 Scenic Highway.

The 7‐lot commercial/retail foodservice and office subdivision development will encompass about 9 acres next to Sam’s Club.

Approval came with conditions related to access to and from the development, landscaping and signage. Adult entertainment, including the sale or display of adult magazines, books, videos, and anything else defined by the Adult Entertainment Ordinance is prohibited.

Due to the location of the property, the developer will also be required to construct, at no cost to the city, a ‘Welcome to Snellville’ gateway sign.
