Now through Nov. 12, the Duluth and Suwanee police departments are competing to see which can collect the most canned food.
The friendly “Battle of the Badges” competition will benefit both Hands of Christ: Duluth Cooperative Ministry and North Gwinnett Cooperative to help provide families with extra help just in time for Thanksgiving.
Duluth Police will collect donations at two locations:
· Duluth Police Department, 3276 Buford Highway, (lobby area)
· Duluth City Hall, 3167 Main St., (lobby area)
Suwanee Police will collect at two locations and during upcoming city events (like Dinner and a BOOvie).
· Suwanee Police Station, 373 Buford Highway
· Suwanee City Hall, 330 Town Center Ave.
