The Norcross City Council recently approved $19,400 for the installation of a digital message center display in the gateway monument sign at the corner of Holcomb Bridge Road and Peachtree Industrial Boulevard.

The city considers this a prime high traffic location. With the opening of a new hotel this winter, the digital signage will provide another way for the city to promote local activities. United Signs, LLC is the vendor chosen to manufacture and install the LED sign that can be programmed and updated from any standard PC.

The city has applied for a number of grants with the hope that at least one will offset the cost by $5,000.
