Eleven streets inside Duluth city limits will benefit from a new contract approved by the city council for the 2021 LMIG Mill, Patch and Resurface Project. Part of an annual effort by the city to keep city streets safe for drivers.

Duluth approved a contract not to exceed $859,372 with Major League Milling, the lowest of 5 bidders.

This project will repair and resurface 11 streets (9 base streets, and two alternates). Base Streets include Brookhurst Court, Hackberry Circle, Lake Villas Court, Lake Villas Lane, Laurel Club Drive, Meeting Street, Riverwood Parkway, Royal Oak Circle and Villa Brooke Court. Alternates are Berkeley Park Drive and Berkeley Park Court.

Funding for this project will come from the 2021 Local Maintenance and Improvement Grant and 2017 Special Local Option Sales Tax.
