Due to the city’s residential unit growth, Duluth has seen a need to increase the number of days per week for trash pickup. Republic Waste Services has worked with city to develop a map separating the city into zones. Residents will be serviced on specific days in relation to their address and zone.
Residential service remains once per week and pick-up day will be either Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday between 7 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Residents will need to have waste and recycling on the curb no later than 7 a.m. on collection days.
Republic Waste Services, along with the city, have developed an informational insert to be included with 2021 Tax Bills to explain the new residential zones and corresponding collection days.
