Forsyth County Senior Services recently launched a new program to deliver donated food and drinks through a new Mobile Food Pantry to senior residents that are homebound or may be in need of assistance across the county, according to a press release.

The program assists residential senior communities and complexes that have a large percentage of senior residents or multi-generational families. The food comes from several community partners including the Atlanta Community Food Bank, Georgia Mountain Food Bank as well as individuals in the community.

The Mobile Food Pantry often partners with the Forsyth County Public Library’s Bookmobile that makes scheduled stops throughout the county.
