Forsyth County reminds voters that Monday, Dec. 7, is the last day to register to vote for the Jan. 5 runoff election in Georgia, or to change one’s name or address on the Jan. 5 voter registration list.

A Forsyth resident can complete, sign and submit a voter registration application in person from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, at the county Voter Registration and Elections Office, 1201 Sawnee Drive, Cumming; or in person at any Forsyth County Public Library.

Or, people can register by mail (applications must be postmarked no later than Dec. 7), or through the online voter registration system, www.mvp.sos.ga.gov (online applications due by 11:59 p.m., Dec. 7). Those registering online must have a valid Georgia’s driver’s license or I.D. card; or they can follow a link to print a paper register application to mail or drop off.
