Peachtree City residents looking to do some fall cleaning will have a place to dump their junk on Nov. 11-14. The city’s public works department is providing six dumpsters at the Glenloch Recreation Area soccer fields parking lot for collecting such items as furniture, appliances, TVs and other large or bulky discards. The dumpsters will be available 24 hours a day, but assistants will only be on hand to help move items from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The containers will be switched out as they fill up.

Items that will not be accepted include tires, yard debris, vehicle batteries, paint and any hazardous materials such as oil, gas and anti-freeze. Regular household trash is also not allowed in the dumpsters. The entrance to the dumpster area will be off Bridlepath Lane across the street from the main recreation building.
