With regular library activities still curtailed by coronavirus precautions, the Peachtree City Library is continuing with more virtual programs and a few off-site events. Starting Jan. 8, the library will host book discussions, storytelling, crafting, journaling, a teen book club and other events geared toward a variety of ages and interests. Some events are held via Zoom and others are on Facebook; the Jan. 8 event at the Fayette Senior Services location at 203 McIntosh Trail will have limited seating available. The programs are free but require registration; details and schedules are listed at www.thepeachtreecityblog.com and on the library’s Facebook page.

The library building remains open for use 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and noon-7 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, while closed Sundays. There is a limit of 40 patrons in the building at once, and a one-hour visit limit will be enforced if there is a wait to get in. Express service is available in the lobby for picking up materials on hold.
