Fayette County is looking for more substitute school nurses, to fill in when staff nurses are absent. Applicants must be over age 21 and be licensed practical nurses or registered nurses to qualify, and provide a copy of their valid Georgia nursing license along with current CPR certification. Substitutes must also have a record with the State of Georgia Professional Licensure Board that contains no evidence of any action ever being taken against their licenses; applicants whose licenses have not been renewed due to performance concerns may not apply.

Applicants must also provide the names, addresses and phone numbers of three professional references, including at least one supervisor (friends and relatives may not serve as references). The full application is at www.fcboe.org under Quick Links/Position Openings, listed as Job ID 4960.
