Derek C. Buffardi noticed what he thought was a "fat dog" in his front yard one morning. "When I looked closer there were two wild boars! I took the pictures until they saw me and started coming toward me." Buffardi called animal control, DNR, local police and a state game warden. Eventually police and other agencies came. He's not sure if they caught the animals, but it made for an interesting Saturday.

Karen Friend took this photo last December while on Cape San Blas at the St. Joseph Peninsula State Park. "The heron was so peaceful off the Gulf shore," she wrote.
"The light, colors and shadows on the frescoes inside this church in Sergiyev Posad were exquisite and remain one of the highlights of our trip to Moscow in May 2019." wrote Valerie and Charles Surasky.
