"This is a photo of the Gullfoss waterfall in Iceland, from an October trip," wrote Margaret Thomson of Marietta. "It plunges 105 feet down in two stages. I have seen Niagara Falls, and this was much more impressive. Also colder, a high of 33 every day we were in Iceland. To get a feel for how huge it is, look at the people on the left."

Emily D. Simerly submittd this photo she called "Dawn in Ketchikan, Alaska." "I was sitting on my cruise ship balcony enjoying a cup of coffee when this view appeared as the ship glided into town. It was glorious," she wrote.
