A Cobb County Superior Court judge on Tuesday ordered eight voting precincts to remain open past the normal 7 p.m. cutoff for polls.

Each of the polling locations opened later than expected Tuesday morning, according to a notice from Cobb County Elections and Registrations. Officials said the delays were caused by minor technical issues at seven of the precincts.
