Cobb County residents can stay more easily informed of county activities and events in which they are interested.

That means they can subscribe to receive newsletters and updates directly from their elected officials and specific departments.

Among those county departments are libraries, PARKS, Keep Cobb Beautiful, Senior Services, the Police Department and Department of Transportation.

Customize newsletter subscriptions at mailchi.mp/cobbcounty.org/subscribe and update subscriber preferences.

For those who decide they no longer want to receive a specific newsletter, they are advised not to unsubscribe since that will stop all Cobb County communications to their email address.

Instead they should scroll to the bottom of the email, click “update your preferences” and unselect the newsletter they no longer wish to receive.
