The Cherokee County School District is looking for substitute teachers to join in serving kids. The school system recently increased the sub rate to $150 for daily subs and $185/day for certified long-term subs, according to a press release.

Subs can hand-pick how frequently they want to work as well as where they want to accept jobs. Although no previous teaching experience is required, the district trains subs on how to foster a seamless learning experience for students.

The next workshop is Sept. 14. Applications can be submitted to the 2021-22 Substitute Teacher posting at https://bit.ly/JobsCCSD Contact Katie.Munson@cherokeek12.net with questions.
