For most people, Costco is simply a store to stock up on bulk items. But for one California couple, the warehouse store holds a special place in their hearts.

That’s because the couple met in the frozen food section of the Santa Maria Costco.

Robert Bonilla and his bride Meredith persuaded the company to allow them to hold their wedding ceremony inside the Costco where they met.

The company agreed, and the frozen food aisle was lined with guests and poinsettias.

Meredith wore a formal wedding gown while Robert was a bit more casually dressed. A storeroom pallet was used as a stage.

The happy couple lounged in one of the store’s recliner chairs and posed for photos before guests enjoyed a reception featuring Costco cakes.

Images from the unusual wedding ceremony are going viral on social media.
