Q: Could you please find the original Brylcreem in the shiny black box with Brylcreem written in white? I tried Amazon as they advertise the original Brylcreem, but I didn't receive it in the original box. It was a red-and-black box, and the original comes in a black box with white writing. This is what I'm looking for. I would greatly appreciate it if you could kindly find me the original Brylcreem, please. I have been using this for a very long time — years and years. If you find it, I would like to buy three tubes. Thank you very much for all of your kind help and cooperation. — Aktar Sadiq, Atlanta
A: I'm sorry, but that original box for Brylcreem has been redesigned to the one you now find. It would be highly unusual for a product to keep the same package design for nearly 90 years. As for the hair cream itself, I was told by someone at Combe Inc., the company that owns Brylcreem, that small improvements have been made to the hair dressing but that the product provides the same great results, and a little dab will still do you. If you want to give it another try, you can pick up Brylcreem for $5.99 per 5.5-ounce tube at Bed Bath and Beyond, 1 Buckhead Loop, Atlanta, 404-869-0457.
Q: We recently had dinner at il Giallo restaurant on Roswell Road in Sandy Springs. I ordered the Caesar salad with anchovies. The anchovies were fantastic. I believe they were marinated in olive oil and lemon. Would it be possible to find the brand and supplier? Thanks for your help. — Ken Krawford, email
A: Ken, I spoke to someone at the restaurant about those anchovies. What you found on your Caesar salad wasn't your everyday prickly burnished and pungent salt-cured anchovy. The restaurant serves delicate white anchovies on its Caesar. While both white and dark anchovies originate from the same variety of tiny herring-like fish, the dark anchovies are cured in salt before they're packed in oil. The white anchovies are uncured and, instead, marinated in a brine that's gently boosted with a bit of acid — often vinegar. They retain their light color and delicate flavor. Agostino Recca is the brand that il Giallo uses in its salad. If you want to buy Agostino Recca, you can order it online through www.pastacheese.com for $12.99 for a 7-ounce jar. This is the best price I found online. If you'd like to try some white anchovies locally, check out E. 48th Street Market, 2462 Jett Ferry Road, Dunwoody, 770-392-1499. The market offers loose white anchovies for $16.99 per pound.

Q: My husband and I have enjoyed Del Monte Mexican recipe stewed tomatoes for years, and have not seen them on the shelves at our local Kroger or Publix for the past several months. All we see are the original recipe stewed tomatoes. We would appreciate it so much if you could find a local source for the Mexican recipe stewed tomatoes. Thank you. — Beth Withers, Tucker
A: Although you're no longer spotting these canned stewed tomatoes, which are flavored with jalapeno, garlic and cumin, at your regular markets, you won't have to worry about not finding a reliable source. I found 14.5-ounce cans of Del Monte Mexican recipe stewed tomatoes for 88 cents each on aisle eight at Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market, 3201 Tucker Norcross Road, Tucker, 770-225-6010.
