Actress Sanaa Lathan takes fans behind the scenes of a photo shoot with Atlanta photographer Derek Blanks and it's sizzling.

Lathan posted that the photo shoot was done last year while she was in Atlanta filming “Nappily Ever After.”

She tweets a shout-out to Blanks, who has done many celebrity  photo sessions.  “Love it Derek!”

Blanks is known for his alter ego photos and has done extensive work with  well-known civic leaders and celebrities.

Previously, she teased fans about the upcoming project. She said she had just seen a rough cut of the 2018 project for Netflix and it’s on (symbols for fire). “Can’t wait for you guys to see this one. Haifaa Al-Mansour directs the project, which is based on the book by Trisha R. Thomas.

The “Love & Basketball” actress plays Violet Jones , who is living life to its fullest - she thinks - until an accident happens at the hairdresser. Things fall apart  until she starts to get her life together and sheds some of the things that don’t matter in the long run, including her hair.
