Pakistani photographer Atif Saeed would be the first to admit that this isn’t something you should try when visiting a wildlife park.

Call it brave or boneheaded, but Saeed captured a magnificent photo in 2012 that has recently gone viral.

According to NDTV, while visiting Lahore Safari Park in Pakistan, Saeed spotted an adult male lion with black fur in his mane. Wanting to capture an image of the magnificent creature in a natural setting, Saeed stepped out of the safety of his vehicle and sat on the ground close to the lion.

As Saeed was quickly capturing his photos, the lion noticed the intruder and lunged. Saeed barely made it back to his car before becoming the lion’s next meal.

When asked if he would ever attempt another dangerous photo shoot like that, Saeed told NDTV, "I was laughing at that time, but now, I don't think I will be able to do it again."
