Sure, dogs are smart. They can learn commands, be trained as working and service dogs, and even save their families from fires and other disasters.

But that doesn’t mean dogs can’t be fooled now and then.

The Canadian comedy group, Just for Laughs Gags, normally perform pranks on human victims. This time, they decided to have a little fun with several unsuspecting canines.

The setup was simple: a dog puppet was placed in a park, guarding a bone. The hilarious reactions of real dogs to the scene was then filmed and posted on YouTube.

To be fair to the dogs, the puppet dog used looks pretty realistic. So is the barking sound.

The video has quickly gone viral, with over 800,000 page views in just two days.
