Jessica Stubbins' husband, Tom Stubbins, dropped off his wife in front of Scunthorpe General Hospital and went to park the car.

He rushed into the hospital to help his wife, but he had already missed the birth of his daughter, Lucy.

A camera at the entrance of the hospital caught the delivery, which took fewer than 60 seconds, on video.

"I just told Tom he best drop me off at the door as he parked the car," Jessica told "Good Morning Britain." "And then I was trying to close the door really quick and then as I got out I just knew that she was on the way. There was no stopping her. There was no time to sit down."

"She felt really guilty because I missed it," Tom said. "I was just in absolute shock, and I didn't know what was happening ... (The delivery) was only about a hundred feet away and I still missed it."

Gemma Hoeft , a nurse at the hospital said she was on break when she heard Jessica scream.

"Initially, I thought it was a labor room window open and thought someone was just very loud," Hoeft said. "But then I heard footsteps, and I turned around and saw Tom running, so I looked in the entrance and could see Jessica stooped over. I thought, 'That girl's not going to make it', so I ran, but by the time I made it, Jessica was still stooped over, but when I looked, she had little Lucy in her arms. It was surreal, like something off a film."

The couple has another daughter -- 2-year-old Penny.
