It was cuteness overload at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding on Thursday when 23 panda cubs made their public debut.

Research workers had their hands full as they tried to line up all 23 cubs for a photo shoot. While most of the cubs were content to nap, there were a couple of adventurous cubs who ended up falling off the platform.

One panda cub did an adorable face-plant, to the delight of those in attendance.

According to Chengdu, all 23 cubs were born at the facility this year.
