If your tastes run a little to the sweet side of things but you'd rather stay away from a sweet martini (perhaps pink isn't your color), then a cognac cocktail is the way to go. Actually, pouring cognac on just about anything makes it taste better -- pizza, Lean Cuisine, Chinese takeout. ... But imagine actually mixing it up with some goodies from the bar and a little ice? How civilized.

Anthony Alba, property mixologist at the Rio All Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, created this less-than-too-sweet cocktail.
