Santa will make his grand entrance Saturday in Suwanee during the annual Old Town Holiday Festival and Caboose Lighting.

He’ll ride in a tractor-pulled sleigh down Main Street, pause to wave his magical bells in order to light the red caboose, and then meet and have photos taken with Suwanee-area children.

The event will begin at 5 p.m. in the historic district with performances by the Riverside, Level Creek, and Suwanee elementary choruses. Students from the Gwinnett School of Music also will perform.

Free hot chocolate, cookies and s’mores will be available.
