If you're going to be hitting the road for the holidays, you will not be alone.
For the first time, 100 million Americans are planning to travel for the holidays.
That means 1 in 3 Americans will travel. AAA attributes the increase to a better labor market, rising incomes and low gas prices.
“Cheaper gas prices are making travel more affordable, but is also giving people more money to have in their pockets for whatever they might need over the holiday season,” AAA spokesman Michael Green said.
This is the seventh year in a row for increased holiday travel.
