The New York Daily News reports that the holiday windows feature '3D scenes recreating six key moments from Charles Schultz's indelible cartoon classic.'
Macy's national director of window presentation Roya Sullivan created the windows featuring all of the beloved characters like Linus, Snoopy, Lucy, Schroeder and of course, Charlie Brown.
The big reveal on Friday packed the sidewalk in front of Macy's Herald Square store as gazers stared at the moving, colorful installations, kids played with the interactive pieces and music from the holiday special filled the air.
"It's really exciting. I love Christmas," one New York shopper told the Associated Press. "It's really fun to get the Christmas spirit going even if it's before Thanksgiving."
