Claims of two instances of tampered Halloween candy in Pennsylvania have turned out to be hoaxes.
The Chester County District Attorney, Tom Hogan, said that photos of a Twix Bar with a needle in it and similar photos of a Snickers bar are not true, KYW-TV reported.
Hogan said the posts were a lie and there was no evidence of a crime.
He did not say if the people who posted the photos could face charges.
