Many stores are going to be open today to give shoppers a head start on holiday sales. A lot of people are going to be eating their Thanksgiving dinner with family and friends and immediately after ditch everyone to run out to the Black Friday sales without even washing the dishes. Some of you may even toss the turkey in the oven and run to the store while it's cooking. There are a few tips I have for shopping on Black Friday:

1. Make a list and stick to it.
2. Read over ALL Black Friday ads to find the best deal on your items.
3. Leave the kids at home if possible, shopping may take hours.
4. Don't get caught up in tossing random items that are on sale in your cart. Stick to your list, this will save you a lot of money at the register.

Here are a few of the great deals I found.

I think Toys R Us is going to be a great place for toys this year. 1. Because they have every toy you can think of, one stop shopping. 2. The Black Friday ad has some great prices listed. 3. Toys R Us is price matching. If you find the toy you bought there anywhere else for less, bring in the sales ad for that store and get the difference back. See page 2 of their Big Toy Book for details.

In case you forgot, Toys R Us is handing out a freebie to the first 200 people in line November 22nd. Goody bags featuring top brands; including Crayola, LEGO and Disney worth $30.00! The offer was posted toPRNewswire.  Thanks to theblackfriday.com and bfads.net for the ad scans.

Macy's stores are opening at midnight on Thanksgiving (technically the 23rd). BUT, you can shop online and get Black Friday prices starting online November 22nd. You would have to pay shipping, but it's one less store you'd have to fight mad crowds in. You can get a kids jacket, regular price $85 for $16. If your looking for perfume you can get a free headset with any $75 fragrance purchase. Women's boots regular price $59 - $69 for $19.99. There are definitely going to be great deals there.

I still think Target has a great deal on a 32" LCD HDTV, $149. That's $100 off the regular price and 32" is a good size TV! Stores open at 9pm Thanksgiving Day.

There was something that caught my eye at Kohl's, because I want it. They will have a Polaroid 21x Zoom Camera on sale for $149.00. The regular price is $299.99! That's half price! Stores open at midnight Thursday. You can get the Black Friday deals online starting on Wednesday the 21st!

I can't get my hands on a leaked ad for Express, but you do have choices here. Today, you can get a 50% savings on your purchase!  If you miss out on this opportunity, on Cyber Monday, November 26th, you can also get 40% off every item you order online PLUS free shipping (Follow their link above and scroll down their page to see the offer. It's in with a bunch of sideways looking black tabs).

Coach has 25% off coupon that can be used in stores or online. "Like" them on Facebook and register, then you can print the coupon from Facebook or from your email. Valid 11/21 - 11/26.

You know all that extra stuff you need; wrapping paper, tags, stocking stuffers, etc.. Don't drive by your local Dollar General Store, stop in and pick all that stuff up! They have Black Friday sales too. The store is open Thanksgiving 7am - 6pm and all trees, ornaments and gift wrap will be 50% off!

During Black Friday weekend, how about stopping at a Firestone Complete Auto Care near you to get astandard oil change for $19.99.  This Black Friday deal will be valid from Saturday through Cyber Monday.
