Marietta residents in search of a diverse set of dishes won’t have to go far this weekend.

Marietta Food Tours is hosting just that from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 28.

For $50, guests can taste a wide range of meals from seven restaurants at Marietta Square on Saturday. As they dine and sip on drinks, a culinary expert will offer them insights on how locals enjoy the park’s food scene.

Locally-owned bakeries and restaurants will offer up their dishes while tour guides provide recommendations for attractions, specialty stores, hidden gems and live entertainment.

Among the eateries participating in the food tour are Kiosco Colombian Restaurant, Australian Bakery Cafe, Marietta Wine Market and Paul's Pot Pies.

Participants can sample over 10 beverages and meals and stroll through Marietta’s historic city center. They’ll also get the Marietta Square Guide, which includes exclusive coupons for guests.

Attendees don’t need to bring much — just comfortable walking shoes, photo ID and an appetite for good eats!
