Get nerdy Atlanta: February conventions in 2020

Seishun Con 2018, Atlanta’s winter anime convention, was held Feb. 9-11 at the Hilton in downtown Atlanta. The Atlanta-based convention focuses on Japanese anime, manga and culture. The weekend event included fan-presented panels, industry guests and an all-night dance. Of course, there were plenty of cosplay, and competitions spotlighted the costumes, trivia and even an eating contest. More than 1,500 took part in this year’s event, according to organizers.

Whether you can’t get enough cosplay or just love watching horror movies until you’re scared silly, you’ll get to nerd out and connect with your particular type of kindred spirit by attending the conventions and expos taking place in Atlanta this February.

Celebrate anime, manga and Japanese culture at a 3-day Seishun event taking place at the Marquis. Follow your passion for hitting the open road at the Georgia RV and Camper Show. If you love historical reenactments and alternative history, you won’t want to miss AnachroCon 2020. Even if you come for the lavish costuming alone, it’s worth the ticket price. This event celebrates history, steampunk, science, classic sci-fi literature and more.
