It's time to start planning your next family reunion and the Alpharetta Convention and Visitors Bureau is ready to help.

The bureau will hold a free family reunion workshop from10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 10 at the Hampton Inn & Suites Alpharetta, 16785 Old Morris Rd.

Family reunions can range from a couple of dozen relatives to more than one hundred people, so planning can be essential.

Participants will learn more about Alpharetta, area facilities, shopping, dining and entertainment.

The workshop and lunch are complimentary and one attendee will receive a digital camera. Attendees will also learn how to plan other types of gatherings, including reunions of schools, military units, corporate groups and professional organizations.

The bureau offers complimentary services such as assistance with group hotel accommodations, a guide to parks and area attractions, welcome bags with visitor guides and maps, and assistance with catering, vendor and transportation needs.

For reservations, go to www.awesomealpharetta.com or contact Julie Clyburn at 678-297-2811 or at Julie@awesomealpharetta.com.
