It turns out some people do want to see sausage being made! Rusty Bowers and crew will give you a hands on introduction to the world of grinding, casing and cooking. The class includes lunch featuring sausage and you'll take home two pounds of your own hard work.

Tame the Flame. 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. March 28. $75 per person. Big Green Egg Culinary Center, 3786 DeKalb Tech Parkway, Doraville. biggreenegg.com/culinary-center. The subtitle of this class is "10 Fun Foods to Expand your EGG Techniques" It's a beginners class, so if you've been thinking about buying into the Big Green Egg lifestyle or you've got one but don't use it much, this class is for you. Some of those "fun foods" Chef Mark Clark will be working with: lobster, bacon, chicken wings, red peppers, corn and steak.

Candy Making 1-2-3: Unlock the Secrets of Homemade Candy! 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. April 8. 5 per person. Cake Art, 3744 Lawrenceville Hwy, Tucker. cakeart.com/content/64/Class-Schedule-Classes. Learn how to melt and store chocolate candy and how to use candy molds. How to make dipped chocolates will also be on the menu. All sorts of sweets are covered in these classes, sweets such as chocolate covered cherries, peanut butter cups and chocolate bark. This class is taught fairly often and usually has a theme. For this class it's Easter.

Southern Comfort Series: Easter Down South. 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. April 12. $79 per person. Vino Venue, 4478 Chamblee Dunwoody Road, Dunwoody. vinovenue.com. Learn how to make that perfect Easter ham. It will be moist and it won't take as long as you might think. Several vegetable dishes will also be part of the class and of course, dessert. What sort of wine goes best will be addressed and you'll have wine and appetizers with your class.

Fusion Flavors Series: Midnight in Morocco. 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. May 23. $79 per person. Vino Venue, 4478 Chamblee Dunwoody Road, Dunwoody. vinovenue.com. Cumin, cinnamon and ginger. Maybe you think you know all about these three spices, but i savory dishes. Moroccan cuisine relies on these and other strong spices. Learn from a French Chef who has mastered Morrocan cooking. Wine, appetizers and spicy Moroccan dishes are waiting for you.

Everyday Essentials Series: Easy as Pie! Noon to 2:30 p.m. June 3. $69 per person. Vino Venue, 4478 Chamblee Dunwoody Road, Dunwoody. vinovenue.com. As you may have guessed this class is about making pies. You'll work with (and eat) both sweet and savory pies during this hands on class. Even better, a recipe for pie crust that works every time will be entrusted to you. Be worthy. When cooking is done, it's time for wine, salad, chicken pot pie and a rustic fruit pie.
