OK Foods, Inc. has recalled nearly a million pounds of breaded chicken products because they may be contaminated with metal, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service.

The issue was first discovered March 21 after OK Foods received five consumer complaints about metal objects found in ready-to-eat chicken products. An investigation found the objects in all of the complaints came from metal conveyor belting.
