Flashback photos: Through Gwinnett’s past, 1942-1992

Gwinnett County has changed so much, yet some things remain. Take a look back at some moments from Gwinnett’s past.

The rail line roughly followed the route of Old Peachtree Road, which was a stagecoach route at the time (and an Indian trail before that). Small settlements had already begun to appear along the trail, but the Norcross depot would become a catalyst for larger growth in the area.
