Dogtopia has 74 dog daycare, spa and boarding facilities around the U.S. and Georgia residents can send their pups to the new location. Opened in Roswell's Connexion Shopping Center last week, it's run by Laura Ruiz, a long-time boarding and dog daycare professional.

“We’re thrilled to bring Dogtopia to the neighborhood and provide much-needed care for dogs in the area,” said Ruiz in a press release. “Our mission is to create the most exciting day ever for pups, while giving their parents peace of mind while they’re away. Instead of being left alone at home or in an isolated kennel environment, Dogtopia provides an opportunity for pups to meet new friends, get exercise, enjoy playtime and have quality human interaction while at daycare.”

The center sets itself apart by having a members-only approach to boarding dogs. Dogs can join the “Social” level or elevate their status with an unlimited “Top Dog” membership. Dogtopia features a supervised off-leash area for dogs to romp with other pups. There are also spacious playrooms containing cleanliness and safety-focused features, like advanced air filtration systems.

Roswell’s Dogtopia won’t be the only location in Georgia for long. A second location is opening in Forsyth County’s Halcyon mixed-use development courtesy of Alpharetta couple Kim and Mike Musso.
