Former President Jimmy Carter will lead a discussion about human rights violations during Argentina’s “Dirty War,” during the last event of the season’s Conversations at the Carter Center.

Events are held at The Carter Center, Ivan Allen III Pavilion, 453 Freedom Parkway, at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

The sold-out event begins with a screen of the documentary “Las Abuelas de Plaza de Mayo and the Search for Identity,” which describes efforts to track down grandchildren missing as a result of the so-called “Dirty War” from 1976 to 1983. The film will be followed by a discussion, led by Carter.

Panelists include: Dr. C.A. Tuggle, producer of the documentary“; Tex Harris, former U.S. embassy officer in Argentina; and Bob Cox, former editor of the English-language Buenos Aires Herald

The event also will be webcast live at www.cartercenter.org.

Events are held at The Carter Center, Ivan Allen III Pavilion, 453 Freedom Parkway.
