Alpharetta mixed-use development, Avalon, will add four new retail tenants to its shopping and dining offerings.

The four new retailers are Onward Reserve, High Country Outfitters, Restore Hyper Wellness + Cryotherapy and Tempur-Pedic.

The development has been expanding since it opened in 2014, starting a wave of such developments in the surrounding area, which now includes Halcyon.

“Avalon’s continued leasing momentum is a good bellwether for the industry, especially for retail space located in activated, mixed-use environments,” Adam Schwegman, who works for Avalon developer North American Properties, said in a statement.

More than 90% of Avalon’s businesses have reopened after temporarily closing to the public amid the coronavirus outbreak.

On its website, Avalon says it is “committed to providing a safe and responsible environment to our guests.”

The development has added precautions like daily temperature checks for employees, sanitizer stations and increased cleaning in common spaces.
