The Little Mermaid had many singing “Part of Your World” over the Memorial Day weekend. Now, Halle Bailey’s body double shares some behind-the-scenes moments via TikTok.

Yasmin Harrison played an integral part as Bailey’s body double completing “camera-blocking for the role,” which means she’s responsible for creating the character’s movements before the cameras roll.

In a video that captured the moment Harrison was on the rock for the hit number “Part of Your World,” she captioned, “Living my childhood dream of being a Disney Princess,”

While Harrison was the first to test out the icy waters, she also worked with Alvin Ailey — the stories choreographer— as one of the core dancers in the movie. Growing up as a fan of the film, as reported in her various TIkToks, Harrison documented her journey from transformations into Ariel, dance scenes, and photos of her and Bailey, all available on her TikTok page.

While behind-the-scenes moments of the movie are taking over social media, fans of the iconic film also pointed out a cameo from Jodi Benson, who was the original voice of “The Little Mermaid.” If you missed the moment, Benson was the food stand owner during the food market scene.

“The Little Mermaid” has received major backlash for casting Bailey; in response, she got much support from fans, including Benson.

“She told me how proud she was of me and how I’m handling everything, and encouraged me to just go for it,” Bailey said of Benson to the Los Angeles Times. “I appreciate her for being so warm and welcoming to me because she’s the GOAT, and it was important to me to get her stamp of approval.”

“The Little Mermaid” opened on Memorial Day Weekend, bringing in $11.5 million according to Variety.

In 2022, Georgia Power projected its winter peak electricity demand would grow by about 400 megawatts by 2031. Since then, Georgia has experienced a boom of data centers, which require a large load of electricty to run, and Georgia Power's recent forecast shows peak demand growing by 20 times the 400-megawatt estimate from just three years ago.
