After a Sept. 2016 pipeline spill in Alabama sent gas prices soaring in metro Atlanta, Governor Nathan Deal has frozen gas prices in Georgia. But this is nothing new to Atlantans who recall the gas shortage of 2008, which resulted in long lines at gas stations in metro Atlanta. Here's a look back at how Atlanta handled high prices and lack of fuel eight years ago.
