Kosher BBQ Festival and more: 4 things to do in North Fulton this weekend 

Whether you want to enjoy Kosher barbecue or stock up on fall flowers, pumpkins and gourds, you'll be able to do it in North Fulton this weekend.

The following four events are worth checking out:

Atlanta Kosher BBQ Festival. 11 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21. $20-$50. City Green at City Springs, 1 Galambos Way, City Springs at Sandy Springs. 770-580-3897. https://theatlantakosherbbq.com/.

Kosher caterers who put their own spin on southern barbecue headline this festival, so you'll want to work up an appetite before you come. Community organizations and artisans are showcased, and the festival also features a huge kids' zone and live music.

Approximately 25 barbecue teams will compete in categories such as beef ribs, chicken and beef brisket, with festival proceeds benefiting the Jewish Educational Loan Fund.

Viking life will be recreated by costumed reenactors who will depict ritual combat, make crafts and other parts of Viking camp life. A kids' zone is also available, and food and drink can be purchased.

Stroller 5K Run & Walk and Children's Fun Run. 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20. $20-$30, kids free. Riverside Park, 575 Riverside Road, Roswell. https://inspiredpractices.org/stroller-k/.

Take part in fun and fitness along the banks of the Chattahoochee River and help raise funds for Project Infinity and childhood schools. New or gently used strollers will also be collected at the event to help families in need.
