Four things to do around Atlanta on Wednesday, Jan. 13:

1. FEATURED
Full-on belly laugh at Book of Mormon at the Fox Theatre, made by the creators of South Park. Tickets range from $35 to $135. [Tight on cash after the holidays? No fear, affordable wintertime dates are here.]

2. FREE & CHEAP
Wednesdays were made for drinking wine. Get half-priced bottles at Common Quarter while dining on your favorite yummy bites. [If whiskey's your poison head to The Pinewood in Decatur.]

3. FOOD
Swing by Venkman's tonight at 7 p.m. for Chicken Pickin', a live bluegrass night featuring the Georgia Crackers while you chow down on chef Nick Melvin's classic comfort cuisine. [Get your fried chicken on at Southbound if all things Southern whets your appetite.]

4. FAMILY-FRIENDLY
It might be cold outside, but there is an abundance of children's activities to enjoy inside at the Chattahoochee Nature and Discovery Center from seeing live animals to reading books in the nook. [You can also bring the kids to enjoy Brother Coyote and Sister Fox at the Center for Puppetry Arts.]
