Some of the finest vintage cars will be on will be on display at Atlanta's first Concours d'Elegance, a two-day car show and competition that shows off a variety of elegant vehicles. These beautiful machines range from imported classic sports cars to those of the Brass Era, and some are even barn yard beauties.

This car show will being held at Chateau Elan Winery & Resort on Oct. 8 and 9 and will include rare finds worth millions of dollars, dating as far back as the early 20th century. Participants of Sunday’s car competition can boast that 80 percent of cars entered to compete have already won classic car competitions. The vintage cars that are on display both Saturday and Sunday will include a 1914 Packard touring car, a 1920 Hudson, a seven passenger 1932 Packard Phaethon, and a 1912 roadster from the Harold Coker collection.

Event co-founders Bill Wallet and Harry Krix say the show is intended to attract both enthusiasts and first-time car show attendees, stressing the event showcases “Atlanta’s—and the Southeast’s—love of cars.” The show will allow people to ride 11 different cars from contemporary luxury car makers, including Aston Martin, Bentley, Ferrari, and Lamborghini. Plus, there are also education sessions, including lessons on how to buy an exotic car. In addition to the highest level of vintage vehicles—the 170 Concours cars that are part of a Sunday competition—there will also be nearly 300 club and private cars to view.
