Over the past few years, two trends have taken pop culture by storm.

One trend, of course, is the growth of the music festival scene, which features weekend camp setups, outdoor performances by famous artists and nontraditional, vibrant attire by festival-goers. The other trend is the booming enthusiasm for fine dining, high-quality ingredients and unexpected food preparations.

This year, the two join forces for TomorrowWorld — creating a cultural combination of epic proportions, as more than 160,000 people will dance and dine in the forests of Chattahoochee Hills, just 30 minutes southwest of Atlanta.

Here is Atlanta Eats' official grub guide for this year's adventure at TomorrowWorld:

1. Grindhouse Killer Burgers

If you haven't had the opportunity to visit Grindhouse Killer Burgers to see what all the fuss is about, now is your chance.

Grindhouse will sell its famous Grindhouse Burger, topped with its secret Grindhouse sauce, as well as regular cheeseburgers and hamburgers. And no meal would be complete without the eatery's crispy crinkle fries.

Festival food at its finest, Grindhouse Killer Burgers is our go-to spot for the classics.

2. King of Pops

It wouldn't be a Georgia music festival without King of Pops.

Since 2009, Atlantans have developed a sweet addiction to its signature treats. King of Pops' celebratory selection includes crowd pleasers such as chocolate sea salt and raspberry lime pops.

Fall flavors will be in full effect, so keep an eye out for King of Pops' seasonal fruit-based favorites. And consider yourself warned: The KOP crew plans to dress the part and embody the spirit of TomorrowWorld.

3. Sweet Hut Bakery

All the festival dancing will make you break a sweat. Luckily, you can cool off with one of Atlanta's local favorites, Sweet Hut Bakery.

Sweet Hut will help you hydrate with some creative (and nonalcoholic) beverages: In addition to its classic bubble teas and iced coffees, Sweet Hut has an array of other concoctions such as its new watermelon slush and honey lemonade to beat the heat.

Make Sweet Hut Bakery your weekend oasis for some of the most innovative and satisfying pick-me-ups.

4. Tomorrow's Table by Kevin Gillespie

Overlooking TomorrowWorld' main stage, Kevin Gillespie, a culinary superstar in his own right, will serve up a sit-down restaurant experience for festivalgoers.

Each day of the festival will correspond to a different menu, modeled after Gillespie's restaurant concepts Gunshow, Revival and Terminus City. The menu will feature such standouts as: whole hog barbecue, beef and pork meatloaf wrapped in bacon and his critically-acclaimed fried chicken.

In addition to table service, Gillespie is providing a takeaway picnic service so patrons can easily transport food items around festival grounds. This can't-miss concept is sure to be one of the biggest hits of the weekend.
