The Children's Museum of Atlanta is officially closed for renovations until later this year, but you can catch the "Imaginators on the Go" at free events in the community throughout August.
The renovated museum will host two new permanent exhibits, a new 3,000-square-foot mezzanine level, a permanent space for the Imaginators and more. Until then, the Imaginators, the museum’s group of professional actors and educators, will make special appearances at family-friendly events, libraries and bookstores with educational activities for kids such as storytime and interactive play. All workshops are based on the museum’s exhibits and the Common Core and Georgia Performance Standards.
