“Girls” actress Lena Dunham has been an open and active advocate for Democratic presidential contender Hillary Clinton. So why is GOP front-runner Donald Trump now saying that Dunham is motivating him to win the overall presidential race?

After Dunham threatened to move to Canada if Trump wins the presidency, he slammed the actress, saying driving her out of the country is a motivating factor.

"Well, she's a B-actor. You know, she has no — you know, no mojo," Trump said of Dunham during a phone interview with Fox News. "I heard Whoopi Goldberg too. That would be a great thing for our country," Trump said, referring to other actors and actresses who have expressed similar sentiments to Dunham.

Rosie O’Donnell also was on that list.

“Now I have to get elected,” Trump said. “Now I have to get elected, because I’ll be doing a great service to our country. Now it’s much more important. In fact, I’ll immediately get off this call and start campaigning right now.”
