If you’re looking for something to spend your disposable income on, I highly suggest attending a local concert this March.
Perhaps you’re not willing to spend above the original price of a ticket to purchase a resale ticket and get into the sold-out Internet or Norah Jones shows. That’s OK.
There are a few noteworthy artists whose concerts still have reasonably priced tickets available.
Lumineers
Folk band The Lumineers released their sophomore album, “Cleopatra,” in 2016, but they are best known for the lead single from their debut album. Atlanta fans will get a chance to hear “Ho Hey” and more from the group when they perform at the Infinite Energy Arena in Duluth on March 8.
7 p.m. March 8. $39.50-$59.50. Infinite Energy Arena, 6400 Sugarloaf Parkway, Duluth. Infiniteenergycenter.com.
Vince Staples
Following the release of his “Prima Dona” EP last year, Vince Staples will headline a show at Center Stage Theater on March 8. Orlando native Kilo Kish is opening for the Long Beach, California rapper on the The Life Aquatic Tour. Staples toured with James Blake in 2016.
8:30 p.m. March 8. $20 (in advance), $24 (day of show). Center Stage Theater, 1374 West Peachtree St., Atlanta. centerstage-atlanta.com.
Young the Giant
Atlanta fans who didn't get a chance to see Young the Giant during Shaky Knees in 2016 (or, perhaps, just want to see the band again) will get their opportunity this month. The rock band will bring their electrifying set to The Tabernacle on March 10.
8 p.m. March 10. $29.50 Tabernacle, 152 Luckie St., Atlanta. tabernacleatl.com.
Candice Glover
R&B singer and season 12 winner of American Idol Candice Glover will perform to an intimate crowd at City Winery. The singer hasn’t released an album since her 2014 debut, but her soulful vocals will surely keep the audience entertained.
8 p.m. March 15. $20-$26. City Winery at Ponce City Market, 650 North Ave., Atlanta. citywinery.com.
Phantogram
It wouldn’t be surprising if Atlanta rapper Big Boi shows up at frequent collaborators Phantogram’s Tabernacle concert later this month. The electronic duo released their third album in 2016.
8 p.m. March 17. $36. Tabernacle, 152 Luckie St., Atlanta. tabernacleatl.com.
