Variety reported that a TV movie based on Viacom-owned Nickelodeon's game show "Legends of the Hidden Temple" is coming to the network.

Instead of being a game show, the movie will tell a story about three siblings who face several obstacles to stay alive.

Elements of the game show come into the movie, including the Steps of Knowledge, which was at the beginning of the game, and Olmec, the talking stone head that holds the temple's secrets.

The movie will also include animals that used to be teams on the game, such as red jaguars, blue barracudas, green monkeys, orange iguanas, purple parrots and silver snakes. How they will be used is not clear.

Isabela Moner is confirmed to star. She is currently starring in Nickelodeon's sitcom "100 Things to Do Before High School."

There is also good news for "Hey Arnold!" fans.

The beloved Nickelodeon cartoon is getting a two-part movie that will answer burning questions fans have been left with since the show ended.

Cyma Zarghami, president of Viacom Kids and Family Group, said the idea to revamp old programming came from Nickelodeon interns over five years ago.

"Interest in the Nick library was becoming louder and louder and louder," she said.

The network is developing these projects in an effort to draw in older viewers who grew up on old Nickelodeon shows and their children.

"There's a tremendous amount of attention on kids these days," Zarghami said. "What that says is there's a tremendous amount of opportunity."

"Legends of the Hidden Temple" ran from 1993 to 1995, according to EOnline.

"Hey Arnold!" ran on the network from 1996 to 2004.
