Long a fair and carnival food staple, corn dogs have undergone a shocking makeover at the hands of Kyle Marcoux, aka the Vulgar Chef. In what appears to be ideal Halloween party fare, hot dogs are surrounded by a batter of red velvet cake, then sprinkled with powdered sugar.
More of a breakfast fan? Thrillist reports that the Vulgar Chef has also created a corn dog made with a blueberry pancake batter.
The shocking image of the bright red corn dogs have gone viral, with fans and critics sounding off on Facebook and Twitter.
